Varn ® Anti Set-Off Powder
Starch-based anti-waste powder

Varn ® Anti Set-Off Powders are available in two series: the “R” series, normal or uncoated powders (Regular) and the “C” series, coated powders (Coated). Each series includes three different sizes: fine, medium and coarse.

The coated series consists of micro-encapsulated powders containing a new slip agent that increases the hydrophobic quality of the powders. In this way they repel the water and are attracted to the surface of the ink to give the best "detachment" result between sheets, increasing the high pile.
Varn ® Anti Set-Off Powder “R” coated powders are quite different in their working properties from conventional or normal coated powders, but both types perform best in all spray distribution units because they resist moisture and do not block the nozzles of the spray systems.
Varn ® Anti Set-Off Powder “R” powders are recommended for subsequent painting and lamination.
Varn ® Anti Set-Off Powders are certified “GMO free” as defined by the European Directive 90/220/EEC, and are produced in a dedicated line, certified “GMO”, which does not allow any cross-contamination during processing.
